TAKE THE PLUNGE!
Cold Plunge Fundraiser
& Fishing Derby

In partnership with the New Providence Police Department and PBA!
This day is going to be epic! Bring the family! Bring the kids!
​
1) Cold Plunge Fundraiser. Get some sponsors to sponsor you to take the plunge! We will have an outdoor hot tub filled with ice water!

2) Fishing Derby! This is an annual event held by the PBA every Spring at Oakwood Park. They stock the pond with fish and everyone gets a pole! Catch a fish to win a prize!
3) Family Fun Day! We will have hot food and hot drinks like coffee and hot chocolate, so if you plunge you can get warmed up! Bounce house, crafts, fire trucks and rescue vehicles for the kids.
4) Penguin Parade! Dress up like penguins and we will do a parade! Have the kids dress up, decorate their bikes, wagons or strollers. Prizes for the best costumes! Prizes are: Free admission to Jenkinson's Aquarium to see real penguins! And a gift certificate for toys from Tons of Toys!
5) Raffles! Basket raffles and 50/50 Cash raffles!

Moms' Retreat

Join other moms of kids with Special Needs and Autism for a day of food, fun and relaxation! We have speakers, fun and games, a comedian, lunch and dinner, activities and all moms get a massage! This year's keynote speaker will be Manisha Lad, founder of the Akhil Autism Foundation and Executive Director of the Sensory Pathway Center where she uses the Rapid Prompting Method to teach non-speakers how to communicate. But the best part of all is that you'll meet other moms who get it!

Location: The Holiday Inn in Clark, NJ
Reduced rate for the hotel will be available for those who choose to stay overnight, It's not necessary, but it makes the whole experience more fun!

Price for the event is $75 donation to Robbie's World Foundation.
If you can't afford it let us know and we will get you a sponsor.

Hotel Info
You have the option to stay overnight at the hotel if you wish. You can stay Friday night so that you'll be there ready to go in the morning on Saturday. Or you can stay over Saturday night after it's over so you don't have to drive home. You can even stay both nights! We are getting a reduced, group rate of only $109 per night!
Friday night you can have dinner at the hotel restaurant, and there will be a group hanging out by the fireplace near the bar for games and socialization in the evening. Saturday night there is always a crew that likes to hang out at the bar after the retreat too and then they stay overnight. If that's your jam you can meet downstairs. Or, you can just get a good nights rest in your room!
